Legal Manager for a Bank in Malta
Under the direct supervision of our Head of Risk and Compliance, your role will involve coordinating with legal firms representing the bank and providing internal support for various legal aspects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting Company Secretarial tasks.
Recording minutes during Board and other Committee meetings.
Monitoring and following up on pending legal cases.
Regularly reviewing the Bank’s product Terms and Conditions and other agreements.
Collaborating with external legal firms and Regulatory Authorities when necessary.
Assisting the Data Protection Officer with legal matters.
Skills and Requirements:
An LLD qualification and legal warrant.
A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate legal experience, preferably in Financial Services.
Proficiency in both written and verbal English and Maltese.
Strong analytical skills.
The capability to work independently and autonomously.
